Headlines the Economic Calendar on Tuesday
1.UK Manufacturing PMI Number
Focus on a report on activity in the manufacturing sector. UK Manufacturing PMI for April is expected to stay at 60.7. A reading above 50 indicates expansion in the sector.
2. Canada Building Permits
In Canada, Building Permits is a key indicator of demand in the housing market to measure the change in the number of new building permits issued by the government. It is expected to ease to 2.0% from 2.0% in the previous month.
3. US Factory Orders
The Factory Orders is expected to be a 1.3% rise in orders for March compared with a -0.8% fall the month before. A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive for the US Dollar.
