Headlines the Economic Calendar on Friday
1.GfK German Consumer Climate
GfK German Consumer Climate for January is expected to come out at 10.3. It was at 10.4 a month ago. A lower than expected amplify pressure on the single currency.
2. U.K. Gross Domestic Product
The UK GDP is expected to stay at 1.5%, year-on-year. A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive for the Sterling
3. US GDP Growth
The US GDP for the third quarter will be published today. It is expected to stay at 3.5% annual rate the same as the previous month. A better than expected results will support DXY and bond yields in the US.
Additionally, US Durable goods orders excluding transportation in the meantime are expected to come out at 0.2% in November.
4. Canada GDP for October
Finally, we will focus on Canada GDP Number. Market consensus for Canada GDP growth is 0.2% m-o - m growth in October.
