Headlines the Economic Calendar on Thursday
The German CPI numbers will be published today. The CPI y/y inflation for June is expected to ease to 2.1 from 2.2%. A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive for the Euro.
The most important release of today is US Final GDP growth. The first-quarter GDP is expected to the annualized growth rate come out at 2.2% as the same as previous number.
Additionally, US Initial jobless claims will come out and it is expected to be 220K, which points to a little rise from previous week 218 K. A better than the expected reading would support the US dollar
